Live NASA STEM Education Webinar PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, July 2, 2013, Rick Varner, NASA Aerospace Education Specialist, presents a webinar that will introduce teachers to NASA activities that they can use in their classrooms to teach standards for sun-earth-moon relationships. Topics include moon phases, ocean tides, eclipses, and recent NASA lunar missions.

Teachers can following along with Rick as he leads these activities in the live webinar.  Here are materials for you’ll need to complete the activities that are demonstrated:

·      1st: 1" & 1/4" beads or spheres of clay each supported on a 4" length of thin dowel, a yard stick, (2) spring binder clips to hold the dowels on the the yard stick.
·      2nd: white ping-pong ball hot glued to a long golf tee.
