NASA Explorer Schools - NASA Explorer Schools (NES) Project
The NASA Explorer Schools (NES) project is launching new opportunities for 2010. NES is NASA's classroom-based gateway for middle school (grades 4-8) and high school (grades 9-12) classrooms providing authentic learning experiences inspired by NASA's unique missions. NES provides free teaching and learning resources that promote student engagement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM. It provides opportunities for teachers and students to participate in NASA's mission of research and discovery through inquiry-based experiences directly related to the work of NASA scientists and engineers.
